Octobers Unforgettable Moments

Wow, October has been a month I will never forget... full of wins and unforgettable memories!

First up, I had the wildest experience – one of my amazing clients flew me out to Ibiza with her on a private jet to work for four days on her birthday weekend. What an honour! Many of you might have seen the stories and reel I posted on Instagram, but if you haven’t, picture this: creating beautiful looks on amazing women with the sun shimmering over the Mediterranean Sea in the background… It was truly something else. I honestly had so many “pinch me” moments. It’s such a humbling, surreal feeling knowing that just three years ago, I was working in a damp and cold basement office in a hair salon, quite literally hating my life. Fast forward, and now I’m flying to Ibiza with one of my amazing clients and experiencing opportunities like this. Forever grateful. And just when I thought October couldn’t get any crazier, the week I arrived back from Ibiza, I won the award for Best Mobile Business in Kent at the Kent Health and Beauty Awards 2024! It was quite funny, actually – I’ve never won anything before. My friend Chloe, who was also up for a few awards, kept asking if I was nervous or had prepared a speech… but I hadn’t! Truth is, I genuinely didn’t think I’d win, so I’d already made peace with that. I was just chilling, enjoying myself, and sipping a few tequilas with soda and lime 😂.

So when my name was called out as the Gold Winner, I was absolutely shocked – and then I had to give a speech, which I had also never done before and am not a public speaker at all! Let’s just say the tequilas definitely gave me some Dutch courage because I managed a pretty decent one right off the cuff.
